Cedar Point postpones some events until 2021 season

Cedar Point is preparing for increased safety measures as the coronvirus pandemic continues throughout the country.
Representatives from Cedar Point say the park has been in constant communication with state and federal governments throughout this process.
They say Cedar Point employees are working hard to ensure that rides and attractions are ready when the park is able to reopen.
Cedar Point has made the decision to postpone the Snake River Expedition ride, Town Hall Museum and Celebrate 150 Spectacular until 2021. Officials say a celebration of that magnitude would not be able to be done right with the procedures that are currently in place.
Other special events including Performances in the Park, Spring Youth & Education Programs, CoasterMania!, Frontier Festival, Coaster Campout, Run & Ride and Season Passholder Appreciation Weekend will be postponed until 2021.
More experiences including VIP, Sunrise, Segway and Boardwalk Cruiser Tours will also be moved to 2021.
Cedar Point previously announced the extension of all 2020 Season Passes and Season Pass Add-On Products through 2021 and Easy Pay Billing has been paused while the park is closed.
The company says they will continue to work with those that have prepaid single-day tickets.
Cedar Point has launched the TicketofaLifetime.com during the pandemic where entrants have the chance to win free admission for life.
At this point it is unclear when the theme park will reopen. The state continues to move forward with opening the economy but Governor DeWine has yet to announce guidelines for theme parks.
