The Post Office that shares building space with Howland Township will open again on Monday with social distancing precautions, according to Township Administrator Darlene St. George.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, township administrative offices were closed on April 1.

Although township offices are not scheduled to open until May 18, St. George says space contracted to the United States Postal Service will re-open on May 4th.

However, as of Monday everyone entering the building is required to wear some type of face covering.

Those who are not wearing a face covering will not be allowed inside, says St. George.

People must also adhere to 6ft. social distancing.

Until then mail can be dropped off in the US Post Office mail box across the street located in the parking lot behind the police station or go to the downtown Warren US Post Office, 201 High Street, Warren, OH 44481 (800) 275-8777

If you have a PO BOX-you may access it via the downstairs entrance of the Howland Administration Building Mon-Fri 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
