Valley Congressman, coronavirus survivor, hosting COVID-19 telephone Q&A
A Valley congressman who is also a coronavirus survivor is hosting a live telephone town hall meeting to discuss what is being done to battle the disease.
Republican Congressman Mike Kelly, whose district includes Mercer County, says the meeting will address the status of the pandemic and assistance available to Pennsylvanians affected by the economic shutdown.
The town hall is scheduled to begin on Friday, April 24, 2020, at 4 pm.
Kelly is inviting residents of his 16th congressional district to take part by calling 855-531-1063.
A team of federal and state officials from the following agencies will be on the line to answer questions and provide guidance on many things, including how workers and businesses can take advantage of programs established under legislation passed by Congress, according to Kelly.
