Dozens of people are looking to adopt a puppy who was thrown from a car in Youngstown.
The Mahoning County Dog Warden posted to Facebook Friday that someone witnessed the puppy being thrown from the car near Idora and Glenwood Avenue on the south side.
He reported the license plate and description of the vehicle to YPD.
As of Saturday morning, there were 70 applications to adopt the dog.

Applications will be processed on Wednesday if the dog has not been claimed.
