Two Arconic employees test positive for coronavirus after worker's death

Two Arconic Niles Operation employees are being treated for the coronavirus after being diagnosed this week.
A company spokesperson said the company is still operating, but they are taking safety precautions to ensure the health of the rest of its employees.
The company said they are taking significant measures to maintain strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines as issued by the CDC, Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and Arconic Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professionals.
Just last week, a worker died at the manufacturing facility, which is located in Weathersfield Township.
The spokesperson said the two confirmed COVID-19 cases are not connected to the deceased employee.
Some workers have already self-quarantined as a result just to be safe.
The Trumbull County Coroner has not released the identity of the man, adding that an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
