Ohio Governor Mike DeWine on Friday took time during his daily update on the coronavirus to thank all businesses, large and small, that are doing the right things to help battle the spread of the disease in Ohio.

At the same time, the Governor said he continues to receive complaints about other companies that are not being compliant with health department protocols.

"Businesses that are recklessly risking the lives of their employees, their employees' families, and everyone that they have contact with,"  DeWine said.

The Governor went on to say, "This simply must stop. I implore you, please, do what is right".

DeWine said he continues to try to strike a balance between protecting the people and keeping Ohio's economy moving.  He made note of the lockdown imposed in California and other states and issued a warning.

"Let me make it very, very clear. That I will error on the side of protecting the people," DeWine said.
