Vaping assemblies to be held at Hubbard High School Tuesday

The Hubbard School District is holding a vape education assembly Tuesday evening.
The event is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Hubbard High School Auditorium.
The presentation will be made by Steered Straight, an organization that aims to push children and young adults towards rational and positive decisions.
Steered Straight was founded in 2000 by an ex-offender who spent more than a decade in prison and halfway houses due to gang involvement and drug addiction.
During the presentation, the organization will discuss vaping and current youth drug trends to those in attendance.
Students between 5th and 12th grade will have assemblies throughout the school day, followed by a staff assembly after school.
A community assembly has also been scheduled for Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
