Fire crews were called to a structure fire at a Hubbard home.
First calls for the fire went out around 6:35 a.m. Monday.
Dispatchers say the fire started in the basement at the single-story home on the 7000 block of Pinegrove Drive SE.
Hubbard fire officials say a dehumidifier caught fire in the basement, which then spread to the dryer and clothes.
A woman and three kids live in the home, but the kids had already left for school.
Fire officials say a cat died in the fire.
Officials expect the family to be back in the home within a few hours, but a cleanup crew will access the smoke damage.
