A McDonald High School senior has been suspended after they allegedly posting a picture with a gun and a threatening message on social media.

A McDonald High School senior has been suspended after they allegedly posted a picture with a gun and a threatening message on social media.
McDonald Superintendent Kevin O'Connell tells 21 News the threat was not directed at any one person.
O'Connell said that after the incident was brought to his attention on Wednesday, he immediately reported it to the school resource officer who brought it to the McDonald Police Chief.
The McDonald Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
The 18-year-old student will remain suspended until the investigation is completed.
O'Connell tells us after the investigation is completed, the district will work with the police department and the student's family on what will happen next.
