The former Perkins location in Greenville, Pennsylvania burned to the ground Saturday morning.

21 News spoke with Hempfield Township Fire Chief Dave King who called the building 'a complete loss.'

King says the fire started in the roof of the former Perkins sometime around 1:30 a.m.

Crews from Hempfield Township and Transfer were on scene until 7 a.m.

King says no one was inside when the fire started with the last employee leaving around 11:15 p.m.

While they have determined the area where the fire started, the case is still under investigation.

A state fire marshal will also investigate the fire.

The location, now named Mama Jane's Eatery, is expected to be rebuilt.
