The bomb-sniffing dog and police are gone, and Salem's Walmart Supercenter is open for shoppers again after a threat shut the store down Tuesday night.

Police converged on the East State Street Store at around ten p.m after a bomb threat was called in.

Salem Police brought in a K-9 to sniff around the store, including trash cans outside in the parking lot.

A person who answered the phone in the store told 21 News that nothing was found and they have reopened.

Police are still investigating.
