The owner of a decades-old hardware store in Youngstown has passed away.

Richard Rosenthal was the owner of Star Supply on Mahoning Avenue.

Family members told 21 News he passed away from a heart attack Tuesday at the age of 77.

His daughter said the family would continue to operate the business and it will remain open.

She said the company has had a great 50 years and they hope to have another great 50 years in the Valley.
