The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the tractor-trailer veered off the eastbound lane shortly after 2 a.m., before flipping over on its side in the median.
After finding no one inside the truck's cab, first responders found the driver pinned underneath the truck.
A coroner's investigator was called out who pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The name of the driver won't be released until his family is notified.
