A 16-year-old Warren boy is charged with murder, felonious assault, and gun specifications for a shooting that left one person is dead, and another wounded.
Dareonte Carmichael appeared in Trumbull County Juvenile Court Monday to answer charges filed following last Tuesday's fatal shooting of 24-year-old Shyhiem Williams at the Warren Heights housing complex. Jackqwuan Williams was wounded during the incident.
A preliminary hearing will be set in the case. It will be decided later if Carmichael will be tried as an adult in the case.
