Youngstown State University held its regular quarterly meeting today and announced that the University would increase tuition.

According to the release, returning students that entered YSU before Fall 2018, tuition for full-time undergraduate in-state students will increase by $81 or 2 percent per semester. The total cost per semester will be $4,124.52.

Returning students that enrolled during Fall 2018, tuition will not change and stay at $4,449.59 per semester.

Tuition for students entering YSU during Fall 2019 is set at $4,605.36 per semester.

As part of the Penguin Tuition Promise, students that enrolled in Fall 2018 and those entering the university during Fall 2019 will not see a change in their tuition costs through their four years of attendance.
