One person is dead, and another is in critical condition following shootings at the Warren Heights housing complex.

Police were answering a call about shots fired on the 400 block of Maryland St. NW at around 2:30 pm Tuesday found a group of people surrounding a person on the ground behind the apartment complex.

Officials say 24-year-old Shyhiem Williams was shot in the leg and later died and 25-year-old Jackqwuan Williams was shot in the hip and taken to St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

He was listed in critical condition on last check.

Police arrested two juveniles in connection with the shootings. One was taken to the Juvenile Justice Center. The other was released to his parents.

According to a Trumbull County prosecutor, they are still reviewing evidence to see whether they will charge a teen suspect in the case.
