After thirteen years in business a Milton Township winery has closed its doors.
A post on the Myrddin Winery's Facebook page announces that the winery will not open this year.
Owner Evelyn Sperry explained to customers that due to the illness and passing away of a loved one, she has not had enough energy to devote to the business and had decided to close.
In 2011 the winery won court battle with Milton Township Trustees who claimed the business was illegal because most of the grapes used in the wine were not grown at the winery.
