A post on the University at Larchmont's Facebook page announced that the tavern would not re-open on Monday as planned due to what it termed “pro-active safety measures.”
Owners say they are working with city officials to ensure the safety of customers and the community.
According to a police report, someone fired a gun from a truck on Larchmont Avenue Friday night, striking three bar patrons.
Police say three Warren men, ages 67, 42, and 56, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of what are described as minor injuries.
Detectives interviewed witnesses who said that the the several shots that were fired may have come from a light, or white colored truck.
