The search for a Youngstown man accused in a rape case is over after officials say they've turned himself in.
According to Sharon police, 40-year-old Frederick Allen Jr has turned himself into police.
Officials announced earlier this week that they were looking for Allen on charges of are Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse (1st Degree Felony) and Aggravated Indecent Assault (2nd Degree Felony).
The charges are a result of an investigation of an incident that occurred on January 23, 2019, in which Allen allegedly performed unwanted sexual acts on the victim, while the victim was asleep.
Allen is being held in the Mercer County Jail.
