Warren police were called to the 1400 block of Dodge Street for a domestic violence assault that left one man with bruised and battered testicles.

On January 29 just after 10 pm, Warren police received a call from Steven Williams that he was assaulted by Kristen N. Cunningham.

Police say that upon arrival to the Dodge Street house they noticed that Williams had a bloody mark on the left side of his chin. According to the report, as Williams was explaining to police what had happened he started to pull down his pants.

Williams exposed his testicles to police showing them nail marks and injuries to his testicles. Williams told police that he was woken up by Cunningham twisting his testicles in an aggressive manner and struck her twice so that she would get off of her. The report states that Cunningham hit him with her fist and her phone then ran to the kitchen to call the police.

Police say that Cunningham had a different story.

According to the report, Cunningham said that Williams woke her up and started to argue with her over the fan and then proceeded to punch her in the face and the right side of the mouth.

Since both Cunningham and Williams sustained injuries during the dispute, and officers not knowing who started it both Cunningham and Williams were arrested for domestic violence.
