Shortly after Governor-elect Mike DeWine and Lieutenant Governor-elect Jon Husted, are sworn into office they will make their way to the Detroit auto show where they will meet with Mary Barra and other General Motors executives to make a pitch for the Lordstown plant.

According to DeWine's office, they will not only be making a pitch to Barra but to the entire automotive industry, with an emphasis on the GM Lordstown plant.

This pitch may include seeing what type of economic incentives they could offer to make the Lordstown plant the best option to allocate a new product.

Earlier today, the president & CEO of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber, James Dignan, met with DeWine and Husted to discuss the future of GM Lordstown.
