As a way of saying thank you for the decades of economic impact in the Valley, the Eastwood Mall is offering an early Christmas present to workers at General Motors Lordstown.
The Eastwood Mall announced on Friday that they want to say thank you to GM workers who "have been the backbone of the Mahoning Valley".
A release from the mall said, "As a small token of gratitude, the Eastwood Mall would like to offer a gift card worth $25 to each Lordstown complex employee."
In order to receive a gift card, each employee is asked to appear at the Eastwood Mall Customer Service Center and show his or her GM identification card between December 3 and December 19.
Eastwood Mall Gift Cards are accepted by the nearly 200 stores, restaurants and other businesses at the mall complex.
In addition to the gift cards, December 16-19 will be GM Appreciation Days at the Eastwood Mall.
GM employees who display their company identification at the Customer Service Center will receive a Passport to Savings, a package of discounts and special offers from Eastwood Mall merchants.
