New Castle Police are still looking for answers after three people were found shot and killed in a home on West North Street Tuesday- and now they're getting a boost from a local organization to try to find clues.

Crimestoppers of Greater Youngstown is partnering with the New Castle Police department to offer a reward for information regarding who may have been involved in the murders of a man, woman, and child.

Police say 31-year-old Lawrence Cannon, 31-year-old Nichole Pumphrey, and 10-year-old Amariah Emery were found shot to death in the home at around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say the crime happened sometime overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Investigators say the trio was found by a family member who called the police, reporting that there were three people not breathing.

According to a police release, Emery is the daughter of Pumphrey.

Officials say four other children were removed from the home by Children Services. Police are not yet releasing details on those kids, but say they are ok at this time.

A post by the New Castle Police Department says they have been turned over to relatives.

Police Chief Robert Salem tells 21 News he does not believe the crime was random. Salem tells 21 news that they are still interviewing witnesses at this point.
