Canfield Fair brings in new rides for fair week

On Wednesday, the nearly 50 attractions will open.
The Big Wheel is one you can't miss if you're on the fairgrounds.
"It's 125 feet tall. With gondola type cars in it that you can ride," said David Grimm with Reithoffer Shows. "If you ride the big wheel you will get the best view of the fairgrounds anywhere in Northeast Ohio".
Reithoffer Shows brought in a large roller coaster for the fair.
"It's about five stories tall and roller coasters are popular with everybody," said Grimm. "The fair, we have been told, has not had a roller coaster here in like 40 years. So we are bringing back the roller coaster this year!"
The Ohio Department of Agriculture Ride Inspectors are already at the Canfield Fairgrounds making sure the rides meet all the safety requirements.
