The Appalachian Regional Commission awarded $185,000 in federal funding to the Youngstown Business Incubator for 3D printing software and equipment.
Michael Hripko, Youngstown State Univerity's Associative Vice President for research, told 21 News, "Each additional piece of equipment further strengthen us as a national and international leader in additive manufacturing technology and this is a key part of that process."
The equipment that will be purchased is said to further strengthen Youngstown State Univerisity, The Youngstown Business Incubator and America Makes as a national and international leader in additive manufacturing.
