Man arrested in connection to Sharon homicide

An arrest has been made in connection to a homicide that took place in Sharon on Saturday.

According to authorities, around 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, 18-year-old Jaylaun Coleman of Farrell, PA turned himself into Sharon Police.

Police had a warrant out for his arrest for Criminal Homicide.

Officers began searching for Coleman after they expected he was involved in the murder of 21-year-old Tyrone T. Cornish, Jr.

Police said they found Cornish in the parking lot with a gunshot wound in the neck. Cornish was transported to Sharon Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Coleman is now currently in police custody and waiting on arraignment.

Loved ones are remembering Cornish with a makeshift memorial made in the complex where the shooting took place.
