A grand jury has indicted a supervisor at the Mahoning County Dog Warden's Office who was caught on camera allegedly stealing cash.
The county grand jury on Thursday handed up a three-count indictment charging Richard Tunison, 41, of Austintown with tampering with records and theft in office.
Tunison, who is currently on unpaid leave from his job, allegedly stole fees from the dog warden's office where he worked for nearly five years.
Investigators told 21 News when Tunison was originally charged, the alleged crimes on two separate occasions in May amounted to just under $100.
The money allegedly stolen came from fees people would pay to turn in a dog they could no longer care for.
Dog Warden Dianne Fry asked the sheriff to investigate after reviewing surveillance video.
