United Way of Trumbull County is expanding efforts to obtain school supplies for low-income students across the county.
Area businesses, organizations, clubs, and churches are encouraged to host an Operation Back 2 School drive in their facilities between July 16 and August 10.
"This drive is not limited to any particular school or district. We would love to reach every school building in every district in Trumbull County," said Ginny Pasha, President of United Way of Trumbull County. "Our overall goal for Operation Back 2 School is to get school supplies in the hands of all the kids in Trumbull County who come to school without the supplies needed to learn."
Hosts can choose to designate their collections for a specific school district or United Way will distribute collections as requested by area schools and partner agencies.
Anyone who is interested in hosting an Operation Back 2 School drive is asked to call 330-369-1000, ext. 29 or email [email protected].
