Word is expected to come this afternoon on the outcome of voting by Youngstown State University Faculty on a new labor agreement.
Voting on a fact finders report by members of the YSU-OEA that began on Monday is expected to wrap up today.
University trustees are also scheduled to meet earlier in the afternoon to discuss collective bargaining.
The agreement, which would increase base salaries 7% over a three-year period, would also grant bonuses ranging from $500 to $1,000 for instructors and professors.
Union members earlier authorized leaders to issue a strike notice if needed.
YSU faculty have been working without a contract since classes began August 23.
