According to Warren Law Director Gregg Hicks, "Area 51" is a nickname Warren law enforcement has given to the area stretching from Elm Road NE, Porter Street NE, Scott Street NE, and N Park Ave known for its high crime rates.
Hicks describes "Area 51" as a "high incident area", referencing the arrest of two armed robbers recently arrested there.
According to the Central Intelligence Agency, the original "Area 51" is a test range in Nevada.
The area has been the focal point of alien conspiracy theories for years.
