A Liverpool Township police officer proved that he could go the distance for his police department and stand out among Ohio's top police and fire athletes.

A Liverpool Township police officer proved that he could go the distance for his police department and stand out among Ohio's top police and fire athletes.
On Monday, Officer Randy Schneider took home first place honors in the 5k cross country race during the annual State of Ohio Police and Fire Games in Canton.
The Ohio Police and Fire Games is open to all of Ohio's first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, and military personnel. Spouses and support staff are also able to participate.
Competition includes games of strength, endurance, and mental focus. Events range from corn hole and golf to running and wrestling, according to the police and fire games website.
