21 News spent Friday afternoon at the GFWC Ohio Warren Junior women's League annual luncheon.
Present at the event were a few special guests, including 21 WFMJ retiree Bob Black.
Bob shared with us what he's been doing and how his life has been since he retired one year ago.
"It's been a fast year," Bob said. "Weather-wise, I love to boat, and it was a great summer for boating, and I'm looking forward to next year."
Yard work has also been keeping him busy.
"I don't like to mow as much as Dana Balash does, but I do like to mow, just being outside and being active," he said.
In light of the recent election, Bob let us know what he saw from this year.
"This year has been all about Trump. From the time you wake up from the time you went to bed, and every time you cut him out you couldn't...and the election, he proved everybody wrong," Bob said.
As for the champagne luncheon and fashion show, it's just one of the things Bob loves about the Valley.
"I don't know how many years I've been doing this. This is such a great event, a great cause, and it's so much fun," he said. "The kids are winners because they raised so much money for therapy and handicapped kids. It's great for the community, it's great for the Warren Junior Women's League, and for the people who model because they have a great time."
Bob Black retired from 21 News after serving the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys for 35 years.
