The busing problems that led to a rocky start for the Youngstown City Schools after school program have been fixed, according to district officials.

About 20 elementary and middle school students were brought back to the bus garage Monday night to call their parents to pick them up.

Youngstown City Schools CEO Krish Mohip says some kids never got off the buses, because they didn't have correct addresses for everyone.

Several parents whose children did not return home in a timely manner were upset and called police to complain.

District spokeswoman Denise Dick say the busing issue has been fixed, and that all addresses for students have been recorded, but they will know for sure Tuesday night if all the problems have been alleviated.

The new after school program allows almost 900 Youngstown city schools students to spend extra time working on math and reading skills.
