Just in time for Halloween, we took a tour of North America's largest candy store. And it's right here in North East Ohio.

B.A. Sweetie Candy Company is located in Cleveland. There are 16 isles to explore with candy stacked almost to the ceiling.

"We have about a half a million pounds here, worth a little over $3 million," said owner Thomas Scheiman.

Many isles are like a trip down memory lane.

"You don't see too many candy stores like this one. It's one of the neatest places to come to," said David Rogers of Lorain.

On any given Saturday, 2,400 customers come through the doors of B.A Sweetie Candy Company to explore traditional, unique and nostalgic flavors.

Tom Scheiman has been the owner of America's largest candy store for more than three decades.

"This wall here, which is about 48 foot long, has 180-thousand candy bars on it," said Scheiman as he showed us around.

He says if you're craving something hard to find, the candy bar wall is one place in the store you'll want to look.

"We have all the Goo Goo Clusters, that's a big item in the southern part of the country," said Scheiman.

When we asked if B.A. Sweetie had one section dedicated to nostalgic items, Scheiman said, "It's all over and you've got to walk 16 isles to find it."

That's because the search is half the fun.

We found everything from Ninja Turtle suckers to Wax lips. More than 200 classic bottles of soda pop. Candy bars like Oh Henry! and Bun Bars, even candy cigarettes.

And just in time for Halloween: Zombie Food, seasonal Peeps, even flavored Peeps like Pumpkin Spice Latte.

"Then of course what would Halloween be without gummy body parts, these are little treat size pieces of fingers and toes and brains," pointed out Scheiman.

The sweet treats don't end there. How about some homemade ice cream at B.A Sweetie's Soda Shoppe?

"It's just old fashion, simple and good quality stuff," said Scheiman.
