Firefighters from several communities battled a house fire in Greenville early Friday.

Crews from Greenville, Jamestown and Hempfield Township were called out to the 100 block of Second Street shortly before 2 a.m.

The a majority of the flames were put out in about 15 minutes.

Greenville Fire Department Lt. Mike Cadmin tells 21 News there was minor to moderate damage on the outside of the home, and minor damage inside.

He says there was a fire at the same home last month.

No one was home at the time.
