Ten years after the show came to an end on NBC; the cast members from "The West Wing" are back together this weekend, traveling across Ohio on behalf of Hillary Clinton to support her campaign. The two-day trip began Saturday morning in Boardman at Clinton's campaign office.
You knew them as Toby, Josh, Will, and Kate - actors Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Joshua Malina, and Mary McCormack - and well after their run on TV, they're still talking politics. Only this time, it's for real.
All four actors gave their reasons for supporting Hillary Clinton to a crowd packed into Clinton's Boardman campaign office. "The West Wing" brought them together more than a decade ago. The chance to decide who really ends up in the West Wing is what has them together again.
"I think that's about her," said McCormack. "We all feel equally passionate about her. We also really enjoy each other. It's a really important election. Look, we're not politicians and I know as much as any hard working American, I don't know anymore, but I know her record and it speaks to me."
The actors told the crowd how vital Oho will be this November, which is why they are here this weekend instead of back home in California - a state where the voter outcome is not in doubt.
