Austintown burglary suspect makes alleged threats against officer
In Austintown, a man is in custody for reportedly making threats against an officer after being accused of a burglary.

In Austintown, a man is in custody for reportedly making threats against an officer after being accused of a burglary.
According to a police report, a man who witnessed the alleged theft flagged down a passing officer. He accused Keyshawn Blalock, 18, and a juvenile of stealing items out of garages on Lancaster Drive.
The witness told police that he saw one of the suspects take a gas can from a neighboring home, and that they returned the gas can when confronted. The witness says the two continued walking down the street.
An officer pursued and apprehended the two men after being flagged down by that witness.
Blalock told police that, "he did not do anything, and his brother did it," while he was escorted to the cruiser.
According to the the police report, Blalock allegedly threaten that he was going to have the officer shot.
He was charged with obstructing official business and intimidation and was taken to the Mahoning County Justice Center.
Blalock is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Court on Wednesday for those charges, however, police said they found he had no part in the burglary.
The juvenile suspect was charged with burglary and taken to the Mahoning County Juvenile Justice Center.
