A Sebring man is in the Mahoning County Jail for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old girl.

Sean Mills, 26, was arrested for gross sexual imposition.

The alleged victim's mother told police her daughter woke her up screaming and crying. According to a police report, the girl told her mother she woke up from the feeling of a hand pulling from her and her underwear laying across from where she was sleeping.

Mills told officers he heard the commotion and possibly saw someone running out the back door.

Police did not find signs of forced entry or footsteps around the home.

The alleged victim and her mother went to the police station and told police that Mills had touched her.

The girl claims she didn't report what happened at first because she is afraid of Mills.

During another interview, police said Mills changed his story about the reported intruder multiple times.

Mills was taken to Mahoning County Jail and is being held on $8,000 bond.
