A Poland man convicted of cashing stolen lottery tickets when he was employed by the Ohio Lottery Commission is back in jail.
David Dragelevich was booked into the Mahoning County jail on Monday for an alleged probation violation.
Dragelevich was sentenced to five years probation last November after he pleaded guilty to theft in office.
Investigators say that that when Dragelevich was a regional sales representative at the Ohio Lottery's North Canton office, he stole the lottery revenue by manipulating the retailer accounts at several locations in the Akron and Youngstown areas.
Court records do not reveal specifics of the alleged probation violation.
A court hearing on the violation is scheduled for Friday.
As part of his sentence, Dragelevich has been ordered to make $39,334 in restitution to the Ohio Lottery Commission.
