Youngstown City Schools is hosting an educational summit for the community Wednesday morning.

The event will be held at Choffin Career and Technical Center at 11:00 a.m. Doors open at 10:30. The event is free and open to the public.

The community will have a chance to listen in on speakers who will be talking about several issues, including changes that could happen due to House Bill 70 and its effect on the school district. Speakers include representatives from Columbus, the Ohio School Board Association and a local community organization, Community Leaders Coalition for Education. 

Questions will be open to the public following presentations.
