A year after being destroyed by fire, the Original Roadhouse celebrates its grand opening.  Employees and the restaurant's owner marked the occasion with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.  This weekend, the Original Roadhouse will treat its customers to specials in honor the celebration.

"Today is a year from when the fire was at my old location on State Route 14 in East Palestine and since then it has been a good move or us to come to the new location.  We are excited to be here in New Middletown," said owner of the Original Roadhouse Jim Kachelries.

Dine-in guests will have the option to receive a free appetizer, free dessert or money off their meals this Saturday and Sunday.  On Sunday, the restaurant will also draw names for prizes.
