The Mahoning County Grand jury will consider the case of a a Poland woman accused of luring a man to Boardman Park to have another man beat him up.

Julia Belvedere, 20, appeared in Boardman Court on Tuesday where she waived her right to a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.

The alleged victim, Vincent Riccardo, told police that he and Belvedere were walking the trails in the park earlier this month when a man appeared and punched him in the head and beat him with a metal object.

When police asked Riccardo if he did anything to prompt the attack, he told officers he was involved in a sexual relationship with Belvedere and threatened to post nude photos of her on Facebook if she didn't continue seeing him.

Riccardo told police his cell phone was taken during the incident because the pictures of Belvedere were on the device.

Police say Riccardo will not face any charges.
