The Mahoning County Sheriff says deputies were following all the required procedures when an inmate was found hanged in his cell.

Sheriff Jerry Greene says that Colin Anzevino, 21, was found unresponsive in his cell on Sunday.

Sheriff Greene said Anzevino hung himself during a shift change and officers did everything that could have been done.

Officials says that no internal actions or discipline will be administered.

Greene says officers maintain two rounds an hour around the jail, which is more than the one round required by law.

The Sheriff says he doesn't believe that Anzevino was on any psychiatric medication.

Anzevino, who was pronounced dead at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, was arrested in April after he and two other men broke into a home on Oakland Boulevard in Struthers.

The three suspects were charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault.

Two Mahoning County Sheriff's Deputies were suspended without pay following the suicide jail inmate Kevin Burkey on August 25.

An internal investigation into that death found that the jail was not informed of a previous suicide attempt by Burkey.
