A former Warren Harding High School teacher will be sentenced next month for engaging in sexual conduct with an eighteen-year-old student.

A former Warren Harding High School teacher will be sentenced next month for engaging in sexual conduct with an eighteen-year-old student.
Thirty-one-year-old Amanda Basile of Austintown appeared in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday where she pleaded guilty to gross sexual imposition.
The original charge of sexual battery was dismissed.
Under Ohio law, it is illegal for a teacher to engage in sex with any student, even if that student is 18.
She was a teacher at Warren Harding High School until her resignation earlier this year.
In 2010, Basile was a substitute teacher in the Austintown Local School District.
Basile will be sentenced on September 23.
