Youngstown man sentenced for 2012 shooting death
Three years after authorities say he gunned down a man on Youngstown's east side, 33-year-old Walter Walker has been sentenced for his crime.

Three years after authorities say he gunned down a man on Youngstown's east side, 33-year-old Walter Walker has been sentenced for his crime.
Mahoning County Common Pleas Court Judge Lou D'Apolito on Friday sentenced Walker to 22 years in prison for the shooting death of Damon Hodges and wounding Dustin Greenwalt.
Walker was originally charged with aggravated murder, but was convicted of the less serious charge of involuntary manslaughter. He also pleaded guilty to charges of attempted murder and aggravated robbery.
Walker was charged after Hodges was found dead at in his home in the 100 block of North Lane Avenue on March 10, 2012.
