Boom Boom Mancini radio show debuts Thursday

Fans of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will be happy to learn that they can listen to the former lightweight boxing champ every week on the radio.
Mancini is scheduled to host the inaugural broadcast of The Boom Boom Room at 6 p.m. Thursday on Radio 570.
Mancini plans to talk about boxing, the entertainment industry and other topics.
Guests slated to appear on the first show include actor, screenwriter, and Golden Globe Award Winner Mickey Rourke and Youngstown native Ed O'Neil, who is known for his roles in TV sitcoms Modern Family and Married with Children.
"They understand boxing inside and out," stated Mancini. "I'm really excited about having my two great friends on my first show."
Mancini won the World Boxing Association lightweight title in 1982.
Boom Boom married Tina Rozzi during a barefoot ceremony on a California beach last year.
