Veteran coach Rich Wright has a new gig.

Wright was approved as the new head football coach at Southern Local.

Wright was the head coach at Wellsville the past two seasons, finishing with two playoff appearances and a 16 and 7 record.

Along with his coaching duties, he was also hired as an assistant principal.
