WARREN, Ohio - “It was very, very scary. I thought a bomb went off outside out building.” That's what one man says went through his mind when a car slammed into the back of the Sunrise Inn on East Market Street Tuesday morning.

The employee tells 21 News that the car crashed through a wall near the rear entrance to the business on the corner of Elm Road NE at around 9:30 am.

The vehicle entered the building where there is seating for customers. Neither the driver, nor anyone inside the building was injured.

There is no word on what caused the car to ram the building, or the condition of the driver.

The restaurant is open for business.
