The Mahoning County Coroner has identified two victims killed in an early morning accident on Thursday.

The victims are identified as 51-year-old David Williams and 52-year-old, Keith "Monty" Rogers, both of Youngstown.

According to the coroner, Williams and Rogers were identified by family.

The sole survivor of the accident, Ronald Davis, of Youngstown, is in critical condition at a Cleveland hospital where he is being treated for burns.

Police continue to investigate the deadly accident as a possible hit and run.

Officials say the victims were driving a 1991 Olds Trofeo which was hit by another vehicle, possibly a tractor trailer, and burst into flames, trapping the three individuals inside.

The accident occurred just before 2:00 a.m. Thursday, near the 800 block of Lansdowne Boulevard.

Police and fire crews say Williams and Rogers were killed before officials arrived on scene.

Detective Lomax, with the YPD,  tells 21 News that witnesses described a large truck with a trailer, or a semi-truck, as being involved in the accident.

Authorities say the investigation continues into the causes of the accident and whether another vehicle may have been involved.
