Cedar Point reveals replacement for Mantis roller coaster

Cedar Point has announced which ride will replace the Mantis stand up roller coaster when the park opens next season.
Officials from the amusement park revealed on Thursday that a floor less roller coaster named Rougarou will go into operation this coming spring.
The Rougarou will use the same structure and track of the Mantis, but the cars will have no floors. Riders' feet will dangle just inches above the track and water as they travel at speeds up to 60 miles per hour.
According to Cedar Point, the ride begins with a climb to the top of a 145-foot-tall hill, providing views of the Cedar Point skyline. The trains then make a 180-degree turn to the right and plummet 137 feet, at a 52-degree angle, to within inches of the water below.
Riders will then be flipped upside-down by a 119-foot-tall vertical loop, spun around a 103-foot-tall dive loop, whipped around a highly-banked 360-degree turn and then twisted upside-down again by the world's only inclined loop on a floor less coaster, angled at 45 degrees.
Just when guests think the ride is over, they are taken through a 360-degree flat spin, tight and twisty turns and a figure-eight finale.
Riders must be 54” tall to ride Rougarou, which is named after a werewolf-like creature in French folklore.
The trains will be manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, Monthey, Switzerland, the same team behind rides like Raptor and GateKeeper.
